AirSense 10 vs AirSense 11 Filters: Which One Fits Your CPAP?
Updated 2026-10-30 · RestWell CPAP
AirSense 10 and AirSense 11 filters look similar but aren't interchangeable. Here's how to tell which one your machine needs.
The quick answer
AirSense 10 filters fit the AirSense 10 and the older S9. AirSense 11 filters fit only the AirSense 11. They are different sizes and shapes, so a filter for one machine won't seal properly in the other.
| Your machine | Filter you need | Part number style |
|---|---|---|
| ResMed AirSense 10 | AirSense 10 / S9 filter | CF2107-1 |
| ResMed S9 | AirSense 10 / S9 filter | CF2107-1 |
| ResMed AirSense 11 | AirSense 11 filter | CF2111-1 |
How to tell which machine you have
- AirSense 10: a small color screen with a round dial to the right of it, and a separate Home button under the screen.
- AirSense 11: a touchscreen with no dial.
- On any ResMed machine, the model name is printed on the label underneath.
A quick fit check
Open your machine's filter cover and compare the old filter with the new one. They should be the same size and shape, and the new one should sit flat with the cover closing easily. If it doesn't drop in flat, it's the wrong filter.
Genuine vs compatible filters
ResMed sells its own filters, and other makers, such as Sunset Healthcare Solutions, make compatible filters to the same size. Compatible filters are clearly labeled with the machines they fit, for example "ResMed AirSense 11 Style Filter." Whichever you choose, check that the label names your exact machine.
Heated tubes follow the same rule
The same split applies to heated tubing: ClimateLineAir fits the AirSense 10, and ClimateLineAir 11 fits the AirSense 11. Standard non-heated tubing fits both.
